Teacher assigned as Grade Supervisor not able to write comments

Symptoms

An assigned grade supervisor is not able to write comments but able select a class

Resolution

Remove the form teacher role from the teacher. A teacher can be assigned as either a primary or assisting form teacher.

To remove the form teacher role from the primary form teacher follow these steps:

1. Login as an administrator or principal to RemoteApp
2. Select School basic > Classes
3. Search for the class by class id/name or teacher name and edit the record
4. remove or clear the teacher name from the teacher dropdown list and save the record.

To remove the form teacher role from the assisting form teacher follow these steps:

1. Login as an administrator or principal to RemoteApp
2. Select School Basics > Teachers Record
3. Search for the teacher by name and edit the record
4. Select Deployment Tab
5. Remove or clear the class id/name from the form class dropdown list and save the record.

Cause

When a grade supervisor is also assigned as a form teacher they are not able to write a comment.
